Thanasis Gentimis | Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Thanasis Gentimis is an Electrical and Computer Engineer Engineer from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a scientific associate at the Athena Research Center. With over 15 years of experience as a technical consultant, he has contributed to the design, evaluation, and management of IT projects for entities like the Special Secretariat for Digital Planning, the Ministry of Regional Development and Competitiveness, and the National Parliament. He has also served as the technical coordinator for several EU and National IT research and innovation projects at Athena Research Center.
Kostis Pristouris | Chief Technical Officer (CTO)
Kostis Pristouris is an Electrical and Computer Engineer with a postgraduate degree in Geoinformatics from NTUA. With over 15 years of experience in software design and information systems management, he brings deep expertise in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), specializing in both the development of advanced applications and the management of geospatial data. As a scientific associate at the Athena Research Center, he oversaw the technical development of applications for European and national IT research projects.
Theodore Dalamagas | Chief Research Officer (CRO)
Theodore Dalamagas is a Research Director at the Athena Research Center with over 15 years of experience as a technical and scientific coordinator. He has led numerous EU and National research and innovation projects across diverse fields, including scientific databases, e-research infrastructures, data web and information retrieval, data integration and interoperability, and bioinformatics.
Professor Antonis Kokossis | Scientific Consultant
Professor Antonis Kokossis is a Professor of Process Systems Engineering at NTUA and an Adjunct Researcher at the Athena Research Center. He brings extensive industry experience as a technical consultant for major companies such as UOP, Bayer, Mitsubishi, Eastman, MW Kellogg, BP Oil, and Unilever. He co-directs the National Technology Platform for Sustainable Chemistry and has served as both technical and scientific coordinator on numerous EU and National projects focused on process systems design, integration and optimization, and waste valorization.
